Featured in this production is James O’Hagan Murphy as Richard Hannay, recently seen playing the title role in RFK: A Portrait of Robert F. Kennedy at The Vintage and winner of the 2013 Westword’s Best Actor in a Drama for the same role. Also in this production are Mackenzie Paulsen playing the Women, other shows at Town Hall include Damn Yankees and Guys and Dolls; Eric Mather as Clown, most recently seen at Town Hall hilariously portraying Franz in The Producers and Seth Maisel as Clown, Town Hall’s Director of Education and most recently seen fight choreographing for Opera Colorado.

Combining a spy thriller with farcical comedy and ingenious theatrical invention, The 39 Steps is an engaging, fast-paced whodunit that celebrates the magic of theater. Closely following the story line of Alfred Hitchcock’s 1935 film, the play features more than 100 characters brought to life by a cast of just four actors – all putting their many side-splitting skills to the test in this wildly entertaining experience.

Town Hall’s production opens April 12 and runs through May 5, 2013. Show times are Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. (& 2:00 p.m. on 4/27) & Sundays at 2 p.m. (& 6:30 p.m. on 4/21).
